Background

Austin was born and raised in Ocala and received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida’s College of Agriculture in 2015. During his time at UF, he actively participated in Florida Blue Key, UF Student Government, and the Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity.  Austin and his wife Lea were married in 2021. Austin and his family are involved in their beloved church, First Presbyterian Church of Ocala.

Law School

Austin earned his J.D. from Florida State University College of Law in 2018. During law school, he received an academic scholarship and gained practical experience through internships with the Florida Department of Agriculture and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. He was also selected for the prestigious Florida Legislative Fellowship Program, where he served with the Florida House of Representatives’ Majority Office.
