Background

Austin was born and raised in Ocala and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Food and Resource Economics from the University of Florida’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences in 2015. During his time at the University of Florida, Austin was an active member of Florida Blue Key, UF Student Government, and the Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity.  Austin and his wife Lea were married in 2021. Austin and his family are involved in their church, First Presbyterian Church of Ocala.

Law School

Austin received his J.D. from Florida State University College of Law in 2018. While in law school, he served as an Interim Justice on the FSU Student Government’s Supreme Court and was an executive board member of the LitiGators club for UF alumnus at FSU Law. Austin worked throughout law school and completed clerkships with the legal divisions of: the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, and the Florida Legislature’s House of Representatives Majority Office.

Involvement

Mr. Dailey is a member of the Board of Directors of the Marion County 4-H Foundation and is a member of the Marion County Cattleman’s Association, and the Marion County Farm Bureau.
